Nemetschek Rolls Out AI Assistant Across Its Construction Software Portfolio

Date:

German AEC/O software leader Nemetschek Group has officially expanded the availability of its integrated AI Assistant across its flagship software suite, following an initial launch earlier this year. Initially debuting in January within Archicad and Allplan, the tool now also supports users of Vectorworks, marking a significant move toward unified intelligent workflows.

Embedded within design environments, the AI Assistant employs a context-aware conversational interface that delivers real-time support, guided instructions, and iterative design analysis. It leverages brand-specific knowledge—drawing from each software’s specialized domain—to surface tailored insights relevant to architects, engineers, and construction professionals.

Built on a shared AI foundation, this rollout enhances scalability and consistency across Nemetschek’s platforms. Users benefit from streamlined access to intelligent tools regardless of the environment they operate in, ensuring performance and capabilities evolve cohesively.

Looking ahead, Nemetschek plans an incremental expansion of the AI Assistant across its remaining brands this year. Development will introduce domain-specialist AI agents capable of interpreting visual project data, aiding in technical documentation, and proactively guiding design workflows. Julian Geiger, VP of AI Product and Transformation, explained this next phase aims to “empower users to work faster, stay compliant, and unlock new levels of creativity.”
