Logistics and Warehouse Expansion in India’s Construction Industry

In the last 15 days, Mahindra Logistics Ltd. has announced an expansion plan under its ‘Go East’ strategy, focusing on developing logistics and warehousing infrastructure in eastern India. The company aims to increase its warehouse capacity from 19 million square feet to 30 million square feet. Key locations for this expansion include new facilities in Guwahati, Kolkata, and Agartala, with plans to add 100 more pin codes for last-mile delivery. The initiative is designed to meet the growing demand for logistics solutions in the e-commerce and FMCG sectors in the under-served eastern region. The new warehouses will be powered by renewable energy, highlighting a commitment to sustainable development.
