Logistics and Warehouse Developments in Delhi’s Construction Sector

Date:

In October 2024, the logistics and warehousing sector in Delhi witnessed significant growth due to the increasing demand for space driven by industrial expansion. The Delhi-NCR region has become a hub for warehouse construction, with U.S.-based Panattoni announcing a major investment of ₹110 crore to establish its first warehousing park in the area. The park, named Panattoni Park NH71, will span 3.6 lakh square feet, with construction beginning in early 2025. This development aligns with a broader trend of heightened demand for logistics infrastructure in Delhi. Leasing activity surged by 68% in the first half of 2024, as companies look to enhance their supply chain operations. The average rental price for warehousing space in the region increased by 4% due to this demand. Such projects are crucial to meet the growing logistical needs of e-commerce and manufacturing, further cementing Delhi-NCR’s role as a key logistics node in India.
