KSRTC Invites Bids for Modern Bus Station Construction in Mysore

The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has announced a bid invitation for the construction of a modern bus station at Bannimantap, Mysore. The project, valued at an estimated ₹98.17 crore, is aimed at enhancing the region’s public transport infrastructure with state-of-the-art facilities.

The selected contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary labour, materials, tools, and equipment to execute the project. The construction timeline is set for 24 months, excluding the rainy season, ensuring that the work progresses without weather-related interruptions. A defect liability period of one year will be applicable, during which any structural or functional defects will need to be rectified by the contractor at no additional cost.

KSRTC has set the bid submission deadline for 10 February 2025, calling on contractors with relevant expertise and capacity to participate in the tender process. This ambitious project is expected to significantly improve the convenience and efficiency of public transportation in Mysore, catering to the growing number of commuters in the city.

The new bus station at Bannimantap is envisioned to become a key hub, supporting regional connectivity and boosting the urban transport infrastructure in Karnataka.
