Juniper Green Energy Fast-Tracks Wind Power Project Construction in Gujarat’s Dev Bhumi Dwarka

Date:

Juniper Green Energy has successfully commissioned 25 MW of wind power capacity in Gujarat’s Dev Bhumi Dwarka district through its subsidiary, Juniper Green Beam, marking a significant milestone in India’s renewable energy construction landscape. The project, part of a larger 50 MW wind power project, was commissioned on July 24, 2025—nearly three months ahead of its scheduled commercial operation date.

This early completion underscores Juniper Green Energy’s robust project execution capabilities and commitment to clean energy infrastructure. The wind power project construction has been backed by a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL), signed in 2023, ensuring consistent offtake of generated energy.

Ankush Malik, CEO of Juniper Green Energy, stated, “The early commissioning of the Dev Bhumi Dwarka wind project showcases our efficient execution and our drive to contribute meaningfully to India’s clean energy transition.”

In a further boost to its renewable portfolio, the company—through its subsidiary Juniper Green Bess Two—secured a letter of intent (LoI) and signed a PPA in July 2025 for another 50 MW wind energy project with GUVNL. This expansion strengthens Juniper’s presence in Gujarat’s growing wind energy sector and reaffirms its role in sustainable power development.
