Ircon International Secures ₹631.20 Crore EPC Contract for Manipur Road Development

Ircon International, in a joint venture with AMRIL, has been awarded a significant engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract worth ₹631.20 crore. The project, commissioned by the Public Works Department (PWD) of Manipur, is aimed at improving road infrastructure within the Imphal East Division (ED-2) under Package-III.

The contract involves the construction of rigid pavement and lined drainage along selected roads, covering a total length of 122.209 km. Ircon holds a 26% stake, while AMRIL leads the joint venture with a 74% share.

This initiative is expected to enhance road connectivity in Manipur, ensuring safer, more durable, and all-weather roads for commuters. The project aligns with the government’s broader infrastructure development goals, aiming to boost economic activities, ease transportation, and support regional development.

With Ircon’s proven track record in infrastructure projects and AMRIL’s expertise, the project is set to bring modern construction standards and improved road resilience to the region.
