Ircon International, in a joint venture with AMRIL, has been awarded a significant engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract worth ₹631.20 crore. The project, commissioned by the Public Works Department (PWD) of Manipur, is aimed at improving road infrastructure within the Imphal East Division (ED-2) under Package-III.

The contract involves the construction of rigid pavement and lined drainage along selected roads, covering a total length of 122.209 km. Ircon holds a 26% stake, while AMRIL leads the joint venture with a 74% share.

This initiative is expected to enhance road connectivity in Manipur, ensuring safer, more durable, and all-weather roads for commuters. The project aligns with the government’s broader infrastructure development goals, aiming to boost economic activities, ease transportation, and support regional development.
