India’s Expanding Role in CASE Construction Equipment’s Global Operations

CASE Construction Equipment, a brand under CNH Industrial, is increasingly positioning its Indian operations as a cornerstone of its global manufacturing and export strategy. The company’s facility in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh, has become one of its largest production hubs worldwide, producing a diverse range of construction equipment, including backhoe loaders, skid-steer loaders, excavators, and compactors. These machines are now exported to over 100 countries, highlighting India’s pivotal role in CASE’s global supply chain .

Over the past five to six years, CASE has invested more than ₹1,000 crore into its Indian operations, focusing on enhancing manufacturing capabilities and expanding the product portfolio. This investment underscores the strategic importance of India in CASE’s global operations and its commitment to meeting the growing demand for construction equipment in both domestic and international markets .

The Pithampur plant’s advanced manufacturing processes, including robotic welding and high-precision machining, ensure the production of high-quality equipment that meets global standards. The facility’s ability to produce one machine every 16 minutes and its capacity to manufacture up to 18 backhoe loaders and six compactors daily demonstrate its operational efficiency and scalability .

As CASE continues to expand its presence in global markets, India’s role in its operations is set to grow, further solidifying the country’s position as a key player in the global construction equipment industry.
