Indian Startup Attentive.ai Tackles Landscaping Inefficiencies in the US Market

Date:

Computer-aided design (CAD) has long been the backbone of the construction industry, but the US market’s restrictive workflows present inefficiencies, particularly in landscaping. Addressing this challenge, Indian AI startup Attentive.ai is making waves in North America with its innovative solutions.

Founded in 2017 by three IIT Delhi alumni, Attentive.ai initially focused on AI-powered services before pivoting to SaaS solutions tailored for the landscaping and construction sectors. The company’s flagship product, AutoMeasure, automates the labor-intensive takeoff process, saving companies significant time and resources.

While Indian firms rely on CAD files for easier measurements, the US predominantly uses PDFs due to intellectual property concerns, making workflows more cumbersome. Recognizing this gap, Attentive.ai developed AI-driven tools to simplify site area calculations, automating 60% of the process. Verified by human experts, the platform ensures accuracy and reliability, earning the trust of over 1,000 clients across the US and Canada.

CEO Dhruv Dhawan cited the economic advantages of targeting North America, stating, “The US market offers better opportunities and cost arbitrage.” Despite challenges like talent acquisition and customer trust, Attentive.ai continues to scale, aiming to double its revenue by 2025.

As AI transforms traditional industries, Attentive.ai’s early-mover advantage positions it as a leader in the niche yet lucrative landscaping market.
