HCMC to Launch Major Logistics Projects, Construction of First Center by April 30

Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) is set to prioritize large-scale infrastructure projects in 2025, including the construction of at least one logistics center before April 30, according to Le Huynh Minh Tu, deputy director of the city’s Department of Industry and Trade.

Speaking at a conference summarizing 2024 and outlining 2025 plans, Tu emphasized the city’s goal of building a comprehensive logistics system to connect with major economic hubs. Additional projects include an international exhibition center and the installation of rooftop solar power systems in public buildings.

In Thu Duc City, four logistics centers are planned for Saigon High-Tech Park, Cat Lai, Long Binh, and Linh Trung wards, aiming for logistics revenue growth of 15% by 2025 and 20% by 2030. By 2025.
