The ₹4,180 crore budget approved by the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) is expected to provide a significant boost to Visakhapatnam’s infrastructure growth, reinforcing the city’s position as a key urban and economic hub on India’s eastern coast.
The budget places strong emphasis on urban infrastructure upgrades, including roads, drainage systems, water supply, sanitation, and solid waste management.
