GNIDA Launches Allocation of 40 Industrial Plots and Multi-Modal Logistics Park Drive

Date:

The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) has commenced the allocation process for 40 industrial plots across prime zones such as Ecotech, Udyog Kendra, and Udyog Vihar in Gautam Buddha Nagar, an official statement confirmed. Plot sizes range from 450 to 8,000 square metres, with reserve prices set between ₹28,600 and ₹33,950 per square metre. Under the scheme, applicants can establish units across 242 permitted industrial categories; however, 27 types— including distilleries, petrochemicals, and fertilisers—are excluded, while activities such as dyeing and bleaching may be allowed only on a restrictive basis .

In tandem, GNIDA has also initiated a bulk allotment drive for a 174.12-acre Multi-Modal Logistics Park in Sector Kappa-2 near Dadri. The park will feature intermodal container terminals, mechanised warehouses, cold storage facilities, freight forwarding services, and customs clearance zones, leveraging strategic proximity to Jewar Airport and the Eastern and Western Dedicated Freight Corridors. The allotment rate is fixed at ₹11,000 per square metre. Developers are required to commit a minimum investment of ₹1,200 crore and demonstrate at least ten years of logistics sector experience to qualify. The application window closes on June 23, 2025, with e-auction procedures to follow shortly thereafter. This initiative underscores GNIDA’s focus on strengthening the region’s industrial and logistics infrastructure.
