Driving India’s Infrastructure Surge: The Rise of Biswanand Infra Projects

Date:

Biswanand Infra Projects India Pvt Ltd, based in Kolkata and led by Director Diptiman Chattopadhyay, is making significant strides amid India’s infrastructure boom. The company is actively involved in key national projects, ranging from the RIL Jamnagar Solar Power Plant and the Bharuch–Nagothane high‑speed rail project with L&T, to executing India’s first single‑span extradosed bridge in Arunachal Pradesh under the Defence Ministry, all closely monitored by PMO and Defence Ministry officials.

Alongside these, Biswanand has delivered infrastructure for NHAI, NHIDCL, IOCL and Talcher Fertilizer, collaborating with leading construction firms. The company is also in talks with Malaysia‑ and Spain‑based partners to bring international projects to India. In partnership with L&T, it’s gearing up to manage resource mobilisation for projects in Saudi Arabia, Oman and the UAE.

Founded in 2016, Biswanand aims to build a 20,000‑strong workforce to close construction‑sector gaps, tackling labour shortages that can delay project timelines. With strong backing from L&T and HMM Infra, the company is scaling fast to support both domestic and international infrastructure growth.
