DDC Budgam Reviews Major Infrastructure Projects, Emphasizes Timely Execution and Fund Utilization

On July 14, 2025, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Dr. Bilal Bhat, chaired a comprehensive review meeting to assess the progress of key infrastructure initiatives in the district, including projects funded by the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD). The meeting underscored the importance of adhering to timelines, ensuring effective utilization of funds, and fostering inter-departmental coordination to achieve developmental objectives.

A focal point of the discussion was the Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF) projects under NABARD, which encompass critical infrastructure works such as roads, bridges, and irrigation systems. The DC emphasized the need for timely completion and improved coordination among various departments to enhance the impact of these projects on rural development.

Dr. Bhat’s review reflects the district administration’s commitment to accelerating infrastructure development and ensuring that NABARD-funded projects contribute effectively to the region’s growth and prosperity.
