CCI Group Expands Chennai Logistics Hub with Rs 640 Crore Investment

Date:

CCI Group is set to invest over Rs 640 crore in the second phase of its logistics hub in Chennai, increasing its total investment in the facility to Rs 900 crore. The expansion will add two million sq. ft. of warehousing capacity, bringing the total area to three million sq. ft.

Spread across 85 acres in Polivakkam, the development is expected to be completed within 15 months. The funding will come from promoter equity and construction finance. The facility will feature a standard warehouse operational by mid-year and a built-to-suit (BTS) segment designed to meet industry-specific needs.

The logistics hub aims to support key sectors such as e-commerce, automotive, FMCG, and manufacturing, catering to businesses seeking advanced storage solutions. Its strategic location near the Sriperumbudur-Oragadam industrial cluster positions it as an ideal choice for industries requiring high-quality warehousing and distribution services.

This expansion aligns with CCI Group’s commitment to enhancing India’s logistics infrastructure, supporting economic growth, and meeting the increasing demand for modern storage facilities in the region.
