BUIDCO Invites Bids for Biharsharif and Begusarai Water Supply Projects Under AMRUT 2.0

The Bihar Urban Infrastructure Development Corporation (BUIDCO) has floated tenders for two major water supply projects—Biharsharif and Begusarai—under the AMRUT 2.0 initiative. The combined estimated project cost is ₹261.15 crore, with ₹136.35 crore allocated for Biharsharif and ₹124.8 crore for Begusarai.

The scope of work includes the design, construction, and operation & maintenance of fully functional water supply systems in the respective areas. Selected contractors will be responsible for obtaining all necessary permits, preparing detailed designs, executing the construction, and managing operations under a “design, build, and operate” framework.

Each project is expected to be completed within a 24-month period. These initiatives aim to strengthen urban water infrastructure and ensure continuous and safe drinking water supply to the citizens.

The deadline for bid submission is 15 April 2025. Interested firms are encouraged to review the tender documents and submit their proposals accordingly.
