Ashoka Buildcon, acting as the lead member in a joint venture with Aakshya Infra Project, has officially received a Letter of Acceptance from Bihar Rajya Pul Nirman Nigam for a major infrastructure project. The contract involves the construction of a significant bridge over the River Gandak on an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) basis. Specifically, the project entails building the 2,280-meter HLRCC Bridge, alongside other essential bridges and approach roads that will connect Fatehabad in the Paroo block to Chanchaliya in the Saraiya block of the Muzaffarpur district.
The total accepted bid price for this extensive project is ₹474.38 crore, inclusive of GST. As the primary partner holding a 51 percent stake in the venture, Ashoka Buildcon’s specific share of the contract value is calculated at ₹241.93 crore. This initiative is poised to be a cornerstone for regional development, drastically improving connectivity and supporting economic growth within Bihar. By streamlining travel between key blocks in Muzaffarpur, the project underscores a commitment to modernizing the state’s transport network and providing robust infrastructure for its residents.
