Ample Parks Unveils 2.1 Million Sq Ft Grade-A Logistics and Warehouse Park in Chennai

Date:

Ample Parks, a joint venture between Actis and Mahindra Lifespaces, has launched its first Grade-A industrial and logistics park in Mahindra World City (MWC), Chennai, with an Rs 800 crore investment. Covering 71 acres, the development is the largest industrial space in the domestic tariff area of MWC, offering about 2.1 million sq ft for leasing.

Located next to the Oragadam Industrial Corridor–Maraimalai Nagar (OMM), the park serves auto and auto-ancillaries, engineering, electronics and white goods, and allied sectors. It offers built-to-suit warehouse facilities and ready-to-move-in units suitable for R&D centres and commercial operations.

The project is projected to generate annual revenues of Rs 110 crore and contribute Rs 1,400 crore over the next decade, while creating jobs for nearly 11,000 people and boosting the regional economy.

Sustainability is central: 50 percent of the park’s power will come from renewable sources, complemented by 4.41 lakh sq ft of green spaces and over 8,000 onsite trees to support biodiversity and reduce carbon emissions.

“Ample Parks aims for tenfold growth in its land portfolio within five to seven years, expanding into Tier-I and Tier-II cities across India,” said CEO Akash Rastogi. The launch drew leading industrial players, underscoring Chennai’s momentum in industrial real estate.
