Expert Opinion: Smart Tools Are Making Construction Easier

Date:

As an expert in construction and workforce management, I believe that using digital tools can truly change how India handles labor in this vital sector. With over 70 million workers and nearly 9% of the contribution to GDP, construction is a big part of our economy.

First, tracking attendance and working hours can be done easily with mobile apps or biometric systems. This reduces errors and fights against fake attendance. Online records also support fair wages, as workers get paid accurately for the hours they work.

Second, digital tools help supervisors coordinate better. They can assign tasks, monitor progress and share updates in real time. This reduces delays and confusion and ensures everyone knows what to do next.

Third, documentation becomes more organized. Safety reports, training records and equipment checks can all be stored digitally. This means quick access during inspections and better safety management on-site.
