This City Is Building Roads Out of Plastic Waste!

It is heartening to see how Mangaluru is leading the way by using plastic waste to build roads. More than 1 lakh kg of plastic collected from MRF (Material Recovery Facility) units is now helping to make stronger and better roads in the city. This smart move not only helps in solving the plastic waste problem but also supports eco-friendly development.

Plastic roads last longer, need less repair and can handle heavy rain better. This project is a great example of how we can reuse waste for something useful. The city officials and workers deserve praise for thinking ahead and acting wisely.

This is a step in the right direction for a cleaner and greener future. Other cities can also learn from Mangaluru and follow the same path. Let us support such efforts that care for both the people and the planet.
