Bengaluru-based Sumadhura Group has signed a ₹600-crore memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Telangana government to develop a 100-acre Grade A industrial and warehousing park, marking a major boost to the state’s industrial expansion roadmap.
The project supports Telangana’s long-term vision of becoming a USD 3-trillion economy by 2047, with a strong emphasis on accelerating growth in manufacturing, logistics, and advanced technology-led industries. Envisioned as a future-ready industrial ecosystem, the upcoming park will feature plug-and-play infrastructure, enabling rapid setup for sectors such as aerospace, automotive, pharmaceuticals, and e-commerce.
Designed with modular production blocks to ensure quick operational turnaround, the facility is expected to generate around 8,000 direct jobs as operations scale up, contributing significantly to regional employment and industrial output.
Ramarao Kalakuntla, Vice Chairman of Sumadhura Group, said the project aims to meet global benchmarks in design, technology, and operational efficiency. He noted that Telangana’s progressive industrial policies provide a strong foundation to attract high-value investments and enhance the state’s competitiveness.
The upcoming industrial park is expected to play a pivotal role in strengthening Telangana’s manufacturing landscape and supporting its economic growth ambitions.
