EV charging network operator Statiq has announced a strategic partnership with e-mobility solutions provider Vertelo to accelerate the development of EV charging infrastructure in India. The collaboration aims to offer comprehensive charging solutions and expand the accessibility of EV charging networks nationwide.
As part of the agreement, Statiq will supply EV chargers and handle engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services. The partnership also includes co-developing new EV charging sites, creating a robust network to support the growing demand for electric vehicles in both urban and rural areas.
Currently, Statiq operates over 7,000 chargers across 65 cities, with plans to expand this to 20,000 chargers by 2025. The partnership with Vertelo is a key step in achieving this ambitious goal.
“Aligning with Vertelo allows us to expand our reach and offer even better service to our users,” said Akshit Bansal, founder and CEO of Statiq. “By combining our technology and infrastructure expertise with Vertelo’s financing solutions, we’re setting the stage for a more sustainable and greener future.”
This collaboration reflects the increasing focus on sustainable mobility and the commitment to building a greener future for India.
