Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has secured a significant road construction contract from the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI), valued at ₹554.64 crore. The company emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for the project, which involves the construction of a six-lane, access-controlled road connecting to Visakhapatnam Port Road.

This crucial infrastructure development aims to enhance connectivity to Visakhapatnam Port, facilitating smoother transportation and logistics in the region. The project is scheduled for completion within 24 months, reinforcing RVNL’s role in India’s highway expansion initiatives.
With this contract win, RVNL continues to strengthen its portfolio in the infrastructure sector, contributing to the government’s vision of modernizing the country’s road network. The development is expected to boost economic activity and improve traffic movement in Andhra Pradesh.
