In a significant high-value transaction, promoters of the DGS Group have purchased a triplex penthouse in Mumbai’s Goregaon for approximately ₹56 crore, highlighting the continued surge in luxury real estate demand in the city’s western suburbs.
According to property registration documents, the penthouse spans around 8,561 sq ft and was acquired at a rate exceeding ₹65,700 per sq ft, placing it among the highest per-square-foot transactions recorded in the micro-market. The premium property is located in a high-rise residential development along the Western Express Highway and occupies multiple upper floors, offering exclusivity and panoramic city views.
The transaction also included multiple parking spaces, along with stamp duty payments of over ₹3 crore, indicating the scale and premium nature of the deal. Industry experts note that such high-value purchases reflect a growing trend where luxury housing demand is expanding beyond traditional prime areas like South Mumbai into emerging suburban hubs.
Analysts believe improved infrastructure, metro connectivity, and large integrated developments are driving this shift, attracting high-net-worth buyers to locations like Goregaon.
This deal further reinforces the premiumisation trend in Mumbai’s real estate market, especially in well-connected suburban corridors.
