Logistics Construction Boost: Blue Energy Motors Delivers LNG Trucks to Inland World Logistics

Date:

Blue Energy Motors, India’s pioneering manufacturer of zero-emissions heavy-duty trucks, has delivered a fleet of liquefied natural gas (LNG)–powered vehicles to Inland World Logistics, marking the logistics company’s first move toward sustainable transportation. The handover ceremony took place at Blue Energy Motors’ Chakan plant in Pune, underscoring the manufacturer’s role in decarbonising freight transport.

These LNG trucks offer up to 30 percent lower CO₂ emissions compared to diesel models, without compromising payload capacity or performance. Their reduced operational costs and compliance with ESG parameters make them an attractive solution for logistics operators seeking construction-grade durability and eco-friendly efficiency.

With over 800 LNG trucks on Indian roads, Blue Energy Motors’ fleet has covered more than 50 million kilometres, resulting in carbon savings of approximately 14,000 tonnes—equivalent to the annual CO₂ absorption of over 560,000 trees. Industry experts note that integrating such clean-fuel vehicles represents a significant milestone at the intersection of logistics and construction sectors, as heavy-duty transport underpins infrastructure development.

Inland World Logistics CEO Arun Sen stated, “This delivery exemplifies our commitment to sustainable growth and sets a new benchmark in green construction logistics.” As India accelerates its infrastructure ambitions, adopting LNG-powered fleets promises to drive cleaner, more cost-effective operations across the supply chain.
