KCC Buildcon has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for the four-laning and improvement of a key stretch of National Highway NH-248A, popularly known as the Gurugram–Alwar Road. The development marks an important milestone in enhancing road connectivity between Haryana and Rajasthan.
The project is to be awarded by the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways and involves the widening and strengthening of a 6.84 km section of the highway. The scope includes improvement works from Malab Village to Bhadas Village, extending towards the Rajasthan border, aimed at upgrading the existing road into a modern four-lane corridor.
With an estimated project cost of ₹180.04 crore, the highway upgrade is expected to significantly improve traffic flow, reduce congestion, and ensure safer and faster movement for commuters and commercial vehicles. The improved corridor will play a critical role in facilitating inter-state trade, logistics, and regional economic development.
The Gurugram–Alwar road serves as a vital transportation link for daily commuters as well as freight movement across northern India. KCC Buildcon’s emergence as L1 bidder further strengthens its presence in India’s infrastructure sector and aligns with the government’s focus on modernising national highways to support long-term mobility and growth.
