JCB Makes a big splash at EXCON 2025

Date:

A complete infrastructure player, JCB India used the first day of EXCON 2025 to make its priorities clear: the company is sharpening its focus on future-ready, customer-first engineering. The highlight was unmistakable — the debut of its 52 tonne excavator, the biggest JCB ever built in India and a machine designed for both domestic and global markets.

But that was just one piece of a much larger showcase. JCB unveiled more than 10 new machines and digital solutions, stretching from upgraded backhoe loaders to a refreshed 2–5-ton excavator range. Every launch reinforced a familiar belief inside the company: “If it is important for the customer, it is important for us.”

– Mr. Deepak Shetty, CEO & MD JCB India

Deepak Shetty, MD & CEO, JCB India in conversation with Maximinfra offered perspective on the trade show’s remarkable strengths, “EXCON’s value lies in the mix of customers, policymakers, contractors, financiers, suppliers and technology leaders who gather to shape long-term industry direction.” With visitors coming in from South Asia, Africa and Southeast Asia, JCB used the platform to demonstrate how its new solutions map to India’s accelerating infrastructure story.

“Sustainability”, in his view, was “another strong thread.” After introducing the industry’s first hydrogen engine for a backhoe loader in 2023, the company has now added a hydrogen-powered genset to its portfolio. Over the years, JCB’s India-driven engineering has also delivered a 45 percent  gain in fuel efficiency, cutting costs and emissions for customers.

To round off its digital push, JCB launched Parts Online, a one-stop e-commerce portal giving users faster, simplified access to genuine parts — a small move with big impact on uptime and service efficiency.
