Three Gujarat-based companies — Adani Ports & SEZ, Super Handlers, and Empezar Logistics — have submitted proposals to establish a multimodal logistics park spanning 174 acres in Greater Noida. This ambitious project is set to attract an investment of at least Rs 1,200 crore and aligns with Uttar Pradesh’s broader strategy to strengthen its industrial and logistics infrastructure under the Greater Noida Master Plan 2041.
The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) had invited proposals for leasing the land for a 90-year period. The proposed logistics hub will feature cargo yards, warehouses, skill development centres, and other essential cargo facilities. The site is strategically located near the under-construction Noida International Airport and offers direct connectivity to both the eastern and western dedicated freight corridors, enhancing its appeal for logistics operations.
This development is part of Uttar Pradesh’s larger vision to reserve 17,000 acres for multimodal logistics parks, aiming to drive the state’s economy towards a USD one trillion target. Companies investing over Rs 1,000 crore will qualify for up to a 30% subsidy on land costs, with further incentives available for private investments and land contributions. The proposals will be evaluated by a screening committee, with final decisions to be made by an allotment committee.
