FLYJAC – LOGISTICS, a subsidiary of Hitachi Transport System, inaugurated a new multi-purpose logistics center in Taloja, Navi Mumbai, at a cost of Rs 300 crore. The 500,000 sq. ft. facility, located on a 22-acre site, is designed to enhance logistics operations with advanced automation technologies such as battery-operated pallet trolleys and auto truck unloading systems. An AI-based control tower also monitors the warehouse to improve efficiency.
This center marks FLYJAC’s second major facility, after its first in Chennai, and it plays a key role in the company’s strategy to transition from a “light asset” to a “right asset” model. The facility will support operations across various sectors, improving sustainability and efficiency in logistics and warehousing solutions. As part of its growth plan, FLYJAC aims to develop similar centers in other major cities across India.
