Fiber Global Raises $20 Million Series A to Scale Circular Building Materials Platform

Date:

Fiber Global, a climate-tech startup based in Brownsburg, Indiana, has secured $20 million in Series A funding, led by DBL Partners. Ira Ehrenpreis—Founder & Managing Partner at DBL—has joined the startup’s board, further strengthening the partnership.

The newly raised capital will support the U.S. manufacturing expansion of Fiber Global’s proprietary platform that converts abundant global waste streams—like corrugated cardboard—into high-performance, formaldehyde-free building materials with zero VOCs and UL GREENGUARD GOLD certification. CEO KC McCreery noted that DBL brings not just capital but “intentionality,” enabling rapid scaling of production capacity.

Fiber Global’s flagship product, Forged Fiber Board, leverages recyclable waste to outperform traditional materials, offering lower embodied carbon and healthier indoor air quality. The move aligns with a global push to decarbonize construction—responsible for over 10% of greenhouse-gas emissions—and respond to growing demand for sustainable sourcing and resilient supply chains.

With strategic backing from DBL Partners and Ira Ehrenpreis, Fiber Global is well-positioned to accelerate U.S. manufacturing, expand partnerships with building-material firms, and lead the transition toward a circular, low-carbon built environment.
