Construction of Coulisse’s New 15,000 m² Warehouse in Enter Marks Future-Proofing Logistics

Date:

Coulisse has initiated the construction of a 15,000 m² logistics centre in Enter, the Netherlands, as the first phase of its strategic plan to future-proof global supply chain operations. The center’s 13 m-high structure combines conventional racking with mechanized storage solutions, enabling efficient handling of items ranging from small cartons to six-metre-long aluminium roller blinds.

An automated storage and retrieval system (AS/RS) employs mechanized cranes to transport storage cassettes between high-bay aisles and picking stations, significantly improving throughput and order accuracy. To honor its local roots, Coulisse specified bespoke bricks for the exterior and engaged Enter’s bricklayers for construction work. “Enter has been our home since 1992, and it always will be,” said Supply Chain Director Thijs Prins, highlighting the family-owned company’s commitment to the region.

Serving customers in 90 countries through sales offices in the US, UK, Australia, and China, Coulisse supplies window coverings and accessories—from designer fabrics to motorized systems—to assembly firms, DIY chains, and major retailers. The new facility will streamline distribution and support growing e-commerce demand.

Phase 2 involves erecting an 18 m-tall automated high-bay warehouse on an adjacent 7,700 m² plot. Pending permit approval in 2026, Coulisse aims to consolidate its entire inventory campus-wide by 2027, delivering scalable, high-efficiency logistics for years to come.
