Bobst Expands Operations in India, Strengthening Local Manufacturing Capacity

Date:

Bobst, a global leader in packaging and printing technologies, is significantly expanding its manufacturing footprint in India to meet rising market demand. With this strategic move, Bobst aims to enhance its production capabilities and better serve the needs of Indian customers, aligning with the company’s long-term vision of localized manufacturing.

The expansion will take place at Bobst’s Pune facility, where new machinery and advanced production lines are being introduced. This upgrade will allow the company to produce a wider range of equipment locally, reducing lead times and providing faster support to regional clients. Bobst’s move reflects the increasing importance of India as a key market in the global packaging sector, with growing demand for innovative and sustainable packaging solutions.

Jean-Pascal Bobst, CEO of Bobst Group, emphasized that the expansion is part of the company’s commitment to being closer to its customers and offering tailored solutions in response to regional needs. “India is a critical market for us, and we are investing here to ensure we meet the evolving demands of our clients with speed and precision,” he stated.

This expansion underlines Bobst’s continued efforts to build a strong, sustainable presence in India’s rapidly growing packaging industry.
