AI Startup Attentive.ai Revolutionizes US Landscaping with Automated Solutions

Date:

Computer-aided design (CAD) is a cornerstone of India’s construction industry, but its adoption in the US is hindered by intellectual property restrictions, causing inefficiencies in areas like landscaping. Addressing this gap, Indian AI startup Attentive.ai has entered the US market with innovative solutions tailored to its unique challenges.

Founded in 2017 by three IIT-Delhi alumni, Attentive.ai initially focused on AI services but pivoted in 2021 to SaaS solutions. Their flagship products, AutoMeasure for landscaping and Beam for construction, automate time-intensive takeoff processes, improving accuracy and saving time. The AI-powered platform reduces manual effort by 60%, enabling businesses to focus on critical tasks.

While Indian firms rely on CAD files for efficient measurements, US companies often depend on labor-intensive PDF-based takeoffs. This fundamental difference made North America a more lucrative market for Attentive.ai. CEO Dhawan explained, “The US offers better opportunities and cost arbitrage compared to India.”

Now serving over 1,000 clients in the US and Canada, Attentive.ai has carved a niche in the billion-dollar landscaping industry, historically overlooked by tech firms. With plans to double revenue in 2025, the company is poised to transform the sector with its AI-enabled solutions, paving the way for a more efficient future.
