DLF Enters Mumbai Real Estate Market with ‘The Westpark’ Launch

DLF Ltd., India’s largest real estate developer, is making its debut in Mumbai’s competitive real estate market with the launch of ‘The Westpark’ on July 17, 2025. Located in the upscale Oshiwara area of Andheri West, this premium residential project marks DLF’s strategic re-entry into Mumbai after over a decade. The first phase of the development comprises four 44-storey towers, offering over 400 luxury apartments. Unit sizes range from 1,125 to 2,278 sq. ft., with prices between ₹5.5 crore and ₹7.5 crore, depending on configuration and floor elevation .

The Westpark is being developed in partnership with Trident Group under the Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA) scheme. While Trident handles the rehabilitation component, including land clearance and construction of units for existing slum residents, DLF focuses on the free-sale component, which spans approximately 9 lakh square feet. The total development potential of the land parcel is around 3.5 million square feet .

The project is designed to offer a blend of luxury and sustainability. Amenities include a 50,000 sq. ft. wellness and recreation hub, a 6,000 sq. metre landscaped podium, a 25-meter pool, a 1.2-km walking track, yoga and sports zones, a bowling alley, VR gaming zone, and indoor badminton court. The development also features a four-tier safety system, including 24/7 patrolling, CCTV surveillance, RFID-enabled parking, access-controlled lobbies, and earthquake-resistant design compliant with Zone 3 standards .

DLF’s investment in The Westpark is approximately ₹900 crore, with a projected sales realization of around ₹2,300 crore. The company plans to sell around 200 units initially, with the possibility of selling the entire 416 units depending on demand .

This launch signifies DLF’s commitment to expanding its footprint in key urban markets and delivering high-quality living spaces that cater to the evolving needs of Mumbai’s elite residents.
