Afcons Infrastructure Ltd, part of the Shapoorji Pallonji Group, has received a letter of commitment (LoC) from Reliance Industries Ltd to carry out civil and structural erection work at Reliance’s expansive petrochemical complex in Jamnagar, Gujarat.
The contract, valued at ₹175 crore (ex‑GST) based on the bill of quantities, signals Reliance’s continued investment in scaling its refining and petrochemical footprint at its flagship Jamnagar facility. The timeline for completing the project will be mutually agreed between Afcons and Reliance, underscoring their collaborative execution model.
This marks another milestone in Afcons’s robust order book—₹36,869 crore as of end‑Q1 FY2025—underpinned by its reputation in delivering complex EPC projects in marine, port, metro, and petrochemical segments.
With a legacy spanning six decades and strong execution pedigree, Afcons is well-positioned to execute the Jamnagar scope efficiently. Reliance’s ₹175 crore civil package augments its broader expansion initiatives in Gujarat, and Afcons’s expertise enhances the project’s delivery confidence.
