PM Modi Highlights Massive Infrastructure Drive for a Developed India

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently emphasized the government’s commitment to modernizing India’s infrastructure, stating that a significant effort is underway to build modern infrastructure for a developed India. He highlighted the unprecedented work done in the past 11 years to modernize railway stations and airports across the country. The nation is investing multiple times more money than before on development projects, reflecting the new speed and progress of the country.

During a program in Bikaner, PM Modi inaugurated, laid the foundation stone, and dedicated development projects worth ₹26,000 crore to the nation. He virtually inaugurated 103 Amrit Bharat railway stations across 18 states and Union territories, at a cost of over ₹1,100 crore. These modernized stations embody a blend of development and heritage, showcasing local art and culture while providing modern amenities. PM Modi noted that these stations will promote tourism and provide new employment opportunities.

The Prime Minister also highlighted the modernization of India’s train network, including the introduction of Vande Bharat trains on nearly 70 routes, bringing modern rail connectivity to remote regions. He mentioned the construction of hundreds of road overbridges and underbridges in the last 11 years, the laying of over 34,000 kilometers of new railway tracks, and the ongoing work on the country’s first bullet train project.

PM Modi emphasized that the government’s investment in infrastructure not only enhances connectivity but also creates employment and business opportunities. He noted that the money spent on infrastructure development benefits laborers, shopkeepers, factory workers, and transporters, contributing to the overall economic growth of the country.

In conclusion, PM Modi reiterated that the modernization of infrastructure is a key driver in India’s journey toward becoming a developed nation, with significant investments and projects underway to transform the country’s infrastructure landscape.
