Vande Bharat No. 47 Gets Datia Stop & New Timings—Check Details

Indian Railways has fine-tuned the timetable of its 47th Vande Bharat Express, running between Hazrat Nizamuddin and Khajuraho. Covering 659 km in 8 hours 20 minutes, the semi-high-speed service will now make an extra experimental halt at Datia from 13 May, taking the total stoppages to seven.

Key adjustments include:

  • Train 22469 (Khajuraho → Hazrat Nizamuddin) will reach Gwalior at 19:28 hrs, allowing better evening connectivity for commuters.

Train 22470 (Hazrat Nizamuddin → Khajuraho) will now arrive V. Lakshmi Bai Jhs at 10:30 hrs and Tikamgarh at 12:21 hrs, offering more convenient daytime slots.

The eight-coach rake (seven AC Chair Cars and one Executive Chair Car) continues to offer the fastest rail option on the corridor, with fares fixed at ₹1,665 for AC Chair Car and ₹3,055 for Executive class. Flagged off on 12 March 2024, the train is maintained by Northern Railway and was built at the Integral Coach Factory, Chennai. Passengers are advised to check the updated schedule before planning their journey.
