The Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), operating under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), has launched a new incubation facility in Salt Lake, Kolkata. This initiative aims to promote entrepreneurship, enhance IT exports from West Bengal, and strengthen the region’s position in emerging technologies.

The new STPI hub will provide state-of-the-art infrastructure and mentorship to startups focusing on artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, and other advanced digital solutions. The facility is expected to attract tech entrepreneurs and investors, contributing to employment generation and skill development in the region. It will also serve as a collaborative space for industry leaders, researchers, and young innovators to develop cutting-edge solutions.

By launching this incubation center, STPI reinforces its commitment to boosting India’s IT sector, ensuring a dynamic ecosystem that supports new-age startups. As the demand for AI-driven and blockchain-powered solutions grows globally, this initiative will position Kolkata as a major player in the digital economy.
