UP Boosts Logistics & Construction with Industrial Cluster Expansion

Date:

The Uttar Pradesh government is advancing its vision of making the state an “Udyam Pradesh” by setting up industrial and logistics hubs under the UP Integrated Manufacturing and Logistics Clusters (UPIMLC). The Uttar Pradesh Expressway Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) has initiated land allotments in Unnao, Hardoi, and Sambhal to promote industrial, logistics, and construction sector growth.

Entrepreneurs can apply for plots exceeding 11.36 hectares in Unnao and 1.2 hectares each in Sambhal and Hardoi. These sites are equipped with world-class infrastructure, including seamless connectivity, uninterrupted power supply, dedicated water facilities, drainage, and sewage treatment plants (STPs).

UPIMLC is strategically developing 29 self-reliant industrial clusters along five expressways. The Unnao cluster, spanning 135.26 hectares, has a base allotment rate of ₹5,010 per sq. meter and benefits from its proximity to the Ganga Expressway, Lucknow-Kanpur Highway, and Lucknow International Airport. Sambhal’s allotment rate stands at ₹4,640 per sq. meter, with connectivity to the Ganga Expressway via Gajraula Highway.

With well-planned infrastructure, these clusters will boost Uttar Pradesh’s logistics and construction industries. Entrepreneurs can apply through the Nivesh Mitra portal, marking a significant step in the state’s industrial expansion.
