NDR InvIT Expands Logistics Portfolio with Premium Surat Warehouse Acquisition

Date:

Surat, Gujarat – NDR InvIT Trust, India’s first listed Warehousing and Industrial Parks InvIT, has bolstered its logistics portfolio with the acquisition of a premium Grade-A industrial warehouse near Surat, Gujarat. The transaction was successfully advised by JLL India.

The newly acquired 0.9 million sq. ft. fully operational industrial park, developed by a Mumbai-based consortium, hosts several blue-chip tenants. This strategic acquisition enhances NDR InvIT’s presence in Western India and aligns with its long-term growth objectives.

As of Q3/FY2025, NDR InvIT manages approximately 19.01 million sq. ft. of assets across India. Surat’s warehousing clusters, primarily concentrated in the eastern zone along the ‘golden quadrilateral,’ provide seamless connectivity to Vadodara and Ahmedabad. The Kosamba-Palsana-Sachin belt, a prominent logistics hub, continues to attract 3PL players due to its strategic location and growing demand for modern storage solutions.

The rising need for efficient logistics infrastructure has driven the development of state-of-the-art warehousing facilities in Surat, leading to increased rental values for Grade-A spaces. This acquisition reinforces NDR InvIT’s commitment to expanding its logistics footprint while catering to India’s growing industrial and warehousing demands.
