Ceigall India Gains After Securing ₹705 Crore Arunachal Pradesh Road Project

Date:

Ceigall India Ltd. witnessed a positive market response after securing a major road construction project worth ₹704.70 crore from the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) in Arunachal Pradesh. The company’s shares gained nearly 5 per cent in intraday trade, reflecting investor optimism surrounding the new order.

The project involves the construction of a key stretch of the Lada-Sarli section of NH-913, also known as the Frontier Highway. Covering the road from km 85.60 to km 168.00, the project will be developed to Intermediate Lane standards under the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) model.

Ceigall India will execute the project through a joint venture with Sushee Infra & Mining Limited (SIML). Ceigall will hold a 74 per cent stake in the joint venture, while SIML will hold the remaining 26 per cent.

The project has a construction timeline of 48 months, followed by a five-year maintenance period. The order further strengthens Ceigall India’s presence in the infrastructure and highway development sector, particularly in India’s strategically important northeastern region.

The company is engaged in the development of highways, expressways, bridges, flyovers, railway overbridges, tunnels and runways. The latest project win is expected to support its order book and reinforce its position in India’s growing infrastructure development landscape.
