ACME Solar has achieved a key development by bringing 68 MW of its planned 100 MW wind energy project in Gujarat’s Surendranagar region into operation. The project is being rolled out in stages through its group company, ACME Eco Clean Energy, ensuring smooth execution and alignment with grid requirements.
Power generated from the commissioned capacity will be supplied to the state utility under a long-term 25-year agreement, providing assured offtake and revenue stability. The project has been supported through funding from Power Finance Corporation, reflecting lender confidence in the company’s renewable energy strategy and operational strength.
The remaining 32 MW capacity is scheduled to come online shortly, which will further enhance clean power availability in the state. Once fully completed, the wind project is expected to play a meaningful role in supporting Gujarat’s renewable energy goals while contributing to lower emissions and energy diversification.
Based in Gurugram, Haryana, ACME Solar continues to expand its presence across the renewable sector. The company currently operates nearly 3 GW of clean energy assets and has over 4.5 GW under various stages of construction. This pipeline also includes 15 GWh of battery energy storage, highlighting ACME Solar’s growing focus on energy reliability alongside generation.
