Snowman Logistics, India’s leading integrated temperature-controlled logistics provider, has commenced operations at two new owned warehouses in Kolkata and Krishnapatnam. The 5,630-pallet facility in Kolkata and the 3,927-pallet warehouse in Krishnapatnam bring the company’s total cold storage capacity to 1,50,754 pallets across 43 sites in 20 cities. The facilities are equipped with advanced and innovative automation technologies, including automated racking systems, real-time temperature monitoring and robotic material handling to maximize operational efficiency. They will service industries such as seafood, ice cream, dairy, ready-to-eat meals, quick-service restaurant supplies, confectionery, bakery products, produce and pharmaceuticals. Company officials stated that these additions are key to meeting India’s rapidly growing cold chain demand, particularly in emerging hinterlands with high growth potential.

This milestone underlines Snowman Logistics’ commitment to enhancing cold chain infrastructure nationwide and reinforces its leadership in the sector. By investing in owned assets and strategic state-of-the-art technologies, the company aims to deliver reliable, high-quality temperature-controlled solutions, supporting food safety and reducing spoilage while driving significant sustainable growth in the Indian cold chain market.
