Seagis Starts Work on New 53,000 Sq. Ft. Warehouse Project in Kearny

Date:

Seagis Property Group has started building a new warehouse at 500 Belleville Turnpike in Kearny, New Jersey. The building will be 53,315 square feet and is already fully leased to a national company.

The new facility is built to handle modern shipping and storage needs. Important details include:

  • High Ceilings: The building will have 36-foot high ceilings.
  • Loading Areas: It will include 7 dock doors and 2 drive-in doors for trucks.
  • Parking and Storage: There will be 55 parking spots and a large area for outdoor storage.

Construction is expected to be finished by the summer of 2026.

The warehouse is located in a prime spot for logistics. Seagis worked closely with local officials to get the project moving. Since the building is “preleased,” it means a tenant has already signed a contract to move in as soon as it is finished.

Seagis is a large company based in Pennsylvania. They own and manage over 200 buildings in New Jersey, New York, and Florida. This new project in Kearny helps them grow even further in the busy New Jersey industrial market.
