The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has issued a tender for the construction of a four-lane highway in Uttar Pradesh. The project spans a length of 35.725 kilometers, extending from design chainage km 0.000 to km 35.725 (existing chainage km 1.705 to km 34.446) on NH927. The project is to be developed on a design, build, operate, and transfer (DBOT) basis.

Valued at ₹975.33 crore, the project aims to enhance connectivity and boost economic activity in the region. The planned four-lane highway is expected to significantly reduce travel time and improve safety for commuters along this corridor.

The NHAI has set a completion timeline of 24 months from the commencement of work, highlighting the emphasis on timely execution and efficient project management.

Interested bidders are required to submit their proposals by 27 February 2025. This ambitious project underscores NHAI’s commitment to expanding India’s national highway network, fostering development, and supporting the country’s growing infrastructure needs.

With the tender process now underway, the project is expected to attract interest from major construction and infrastructure firms, marking a significant step toward realizing India’s vision of a robust and modern road infrastructure.
