The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has granted a Letter of Intent (LoI) to Shri Katyayani Metal Pvt Ltd, allotting 26 acres in Sector 8 for the development of a ₹1,000-crore logistics park and warehouse facility—strategically positioned near the upcoming Noida International Airport in Jewar.
This state-of-the-art facility is slated to deliver secure storage for import-export consignments, as well as value-added services such as consolidation and distribution—distinguishing itself from conventional warehousing by offering specialized infrastructure tailored to modern supply chain needs.
YEIDA officials highlight the close proximity to the new airport and a future cargo terminal as key advantages. With cargo flight operations expected to commence the moment the airport is operational, demand for logistics and warehousing capabilities in the region is anticipated to surge.
The logistics park is expected to catalyze regional economic growth by generating employment and boosting industrial activity across the Noida–Jewar corridor. The project aligns with YEIDA’s broader vision to enhance cargo and logistics infrastructure in the area, making Jewar a significant hub in India’s fast-evolving logistics and supply chain ecosystem.
