IFFCO Completes Construction, Launches Nano Fertiliser Manufacturing Project Near Bengaluru

Date:

Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative (IFFCO) has commissioned its newly constructed nano fertiliser manufacturing project at Devanahalli, marking a key milestone in the adoption of advanced and precision-oriented agricultural inputs in India. Developed across 12 acres, the project features a modern production unit with a daily output capacity of nearly two lakh bottles of Nano Urea Plus.

The construction of the facility has been completed with a strong focus on advanced process design, automation, and stringent quality monitoring systems. According to IFFCO, the project is aimed at promoting efficient nutrient usage while reducing the overdependence on conventional fertilisers. The initiative is expected to support farmers, particularly in southern India, by improving productivity and lowering input-related inefficiencies.

Speaking at the project inauguration, Dileep Sanghani, Chairman of IFFCO, emphasised that scientific progress in agriculture must translate into real-world advantages for farmers. He highlighted that innovation-driven projects such as this play a vital role in strengthening sustainability and long-term farm resilience.

The Devanahalli construction project aligns with the Atmanirbhar Bharat vision by enhancing domestic fertiliser capacity and reducing import reliance. During the event, senior officials reviewed the plant’s technical layout and operational systems, reaffirming IFFCO’s commitment to cooperative-led, technology-backed agricultural growth.
