Haryana Government Approves ₹616.1 Crore for Upgrading Hodal-Nuh-Pataudi Road

Date:

The Haryana government has approved a budget of ₹616.1 crore to upgrade the 71-km Hodal-Nuh-Pataudi Road into a four-lane highway. This ambitious project, announced during a standing finance committee meeting chaired by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini in Chandigarh on December 5, 2024, aims to enhance regional connectivity and foster economic growth by bridging the urban-rural divide.

The upgraded highway will interlink major national highways, including NH-248A (Gurgaon-Nuh-Rajasthan), a crucial segment of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, and NH-8 (Delhi-Jaipur). Public Works Department Minister Ranbir Gangwa emphasized the transformative potential of the project. “This road will become the backbone of regional connectivity in Haryana, integrating state and national highways and boosting trade and transportation efficiency,” he stated.

The enhanced infrastructure is set to benefit rural and urban areas alike, offering easier access to markets, healthcare, and education. It will reduce travel time for over 20 villages, including Bhimsika and Nangal Jat in Palwal, while improving connectivity to key locations like Bilaspur, Pathreri, Bawla, Nuh, Ujina, and Hodal.

With this development, Haryana takes another step toward fostering inclusivity and economic progress across its regions.
