Godrej Properties Buys 14-Acre Hoskote Plot in Bengaluru for ₹1,500 Cr Premium Housing Project

Date:

Godrej Properties Ltd. has secured a 14-acre land parcel in Hoskote, East Bengaluru, signaling its entry into the region’s rising residential market. The developer plans to construct a premium housing project spanning approximately 1.5 million sq ft, with estimated sales revenue of around ₹1,500 cr.

In its regulatory filing, Godrej Properties noted that this acquisition reinforces its expanding footprint in East Bengaluru, a micro-market benefiting from robust infrastructure growth and proximity to employment centers such as Whitefield, ITPL, and the upcoming Aerospace Park. Located about 5 km from NH-75, the site offers strong connectivity to Budigere Cross, KR Puram, and the Whitefield corridor, with expanding arterial roads and growing social amenities adding to its appeal.

Commenting on the move, Gaurav Pandey, MD & CEO of Godrej Properties, said, “Hoskote is an important micro market for us in East Bengaluru. It continues to demonstrate strong demand for high-quality housing and aligns with our vision of developing best-in-class residential communities”.

This acquisition follows another 14-acre purchase in Pune, where GPL developed a ₹4,200 cr project, demonstrating its asset-light growth strategy focused on scalable, well-connected urban hubs.
