Godrej Properties Acquires 75 Acres in Nagpur for Major Investment

Godrej Properties Limited has announced a significant land acquisition in Nagpur, marking another major step in its expansion strategy. According to the company’s exchange filing, it has acquired a 75-acre plot in the city, strengthening its presence in emerging real estate markets. The company also stated that it surpassed a business milestone of ₹20,000 crore during the financial year 2026.

The newly acquired land offers around 1.7 million sq. ft. of saleable area and will be developed as a residential project. This is the company’s third land purchase in Nagpur over the last four years, highlighting its growing focus on the city. Strategically located with connectivity to both the MIHAN SEZ (Special Economic Zone) and the Samruddhi Super Expressway, the project is expected to benefit from the region’s rapidly improving infrastructure.

Commenting on the acquisition, Gaurav Pandey, MD & CEO of Godrej Properties, stated that Nagpur is emerging as a key center for industrial and infrastructural growth, supported by strong connectivity and rising demand for housing. He added that the new purchase aligns with the company’s strategy to strengthen its footprint in high-potential markets. Godrej Properties aims to develop a high-quality plotted township that creates long-term value for its future residents.
